Tensas Academy Invites Community to Homecoming Week Festivities, September 19 - 23
Tensas Academy invites students, parents, alumni, and the community to celebrate its 2022 homecoming with a week of events beginning September 19, 2022.

2022 Tensas Academy Homecoming Court - Brayden Williams (Freshman Maid), MiaClare Gossett (Junior Maid), Olivia Hendrix (Maid of Honor), Mary Clark Herring (Queen), Ellie Blanche (Senior Maid), Katie VandeVen (Sophomore Maid), Trip White (Crown Bearer), and Mary Evelyn Robin (Flower Girl)
Homecoming events begin on Monday, September 19, with a daily dress-up day:

Homecoming is a special time where Tensas Academy alumni and friends return to campus to catch up with friends from both the past and present. We look forward to reconnecting with alumni and friends and encourage all TA alumni and friends to attend the events.
Please let us know if you are a former Tensas Academy Football Player, Manager, Cheerleader, Dancer, or Coach that will be in attendance at the 2022 Homecoming Game, Friday, September 23.
- Hawaiian Dress Day - “Chiefs will lei out the Eagles” - Monday, 9/19
- Decade Dress Day - “History repeats itself” - Tuesday, 9/20
- Country vs. Country Club Dress Day - “We’re from the country and we like it that way” - Wednesday, 9/21
- Class Color War Dress Day - “Teacher will send out class info” - Thursday, 9/22
- Homecoming t-shirt & jeans - “Homecoming Day” -Friday, 9/23
Additional homecoming activities include:
- Mud Wars, 1pm, Sept. 22. Bring your lawn chair and watch as our students in grades 6-12 compete for bragging rights in the annual Mud War class competition where kids are encouraged to play in the mud!
- Coronation, 11am, Sept. 23. The Tensas Academy Gym will be transformed into an elegant court. A cast of young men will present the TA Homecoming Queen and her homecoming maids in an elegant ceremony.
- Parade, 12:15pm, Sept. 23. Tensas Academy will roll through the Town of St. Joseph in floats ridden by students of all ages, beautifully dressed Homecoming Maids in beautiful cars, and a host of locals who make a parade exciting.
- Pregame Court Events, 6:00pm, Sept. 23. Tensas Academy Football Field.
- Court Presentation, halftime of the game, Sept. 23.
- Homecoming Dance, 9:30-11:30 pm, Sept. 24. The Lake Bruin Country Club, Semi-formal attire. Grades 9-12.
