Tensas Academy Campus Work Day

Tensas Academy Parents (and older students), please join and help us prep the Tensas Academy Campus for a new school year.

We love seeing our TA families, friends, and alumni on our campus, helping to take care of general clean-up tasks around the school. Even the older students can participate! We hope to see as many people on campus as possible!

See you on Saturday, August 6th starting at 7:30 am.

Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty and close-toed shoes. Bring work gloves, a broom, dustpan, and a rake if you have them. Don't forget a hat & sunscreen.

Here are a few of the things that need to be done around the school on Saturday, but more are being added as faculty submit requests:

• Pressure washing sidewalks
• Replacing ceiling tiles
• Tossing unneeded items
• Cleaning the gutters
• Cleaning and weed eating around the dumpster areas
• Replacing light bulbs
• Weeding the flower beds
• Spreading pine straw in the beds
• Trash pickup around the school
• Weed eating
• Tree Trimming
• Limb Pickup
• Flower planting
• Cleaning windows
• Spraying Weeds

In accomplishing these tasks, there are a number of materials that will be needed.

• Sprayer with RoundUp
• Cleaning supplies
• Scrub Brushes
• Buckets
• Brushes
• Powdered Tide
