Tensas Academy will be holding a delayed and condensed version of its Annual Spring Carnival on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The fundraiser activities that day will consist of the Big Raffle drawing, the Gourmet Shop, and a Silent Auction of various donated items, including items that have typically been part of the Grand Auction in past years.
The auction will begin as an online auction on Friday, June 19, and will conclude as a silent auction on that Saturday morning in the TA gym. For those wanting to bid online at any time after the auction opens, they may access the auction website at https://charityauction.bid/tacarnival2020, where pictures and descriptions of the majority of the items, along with registration and bidding instructions, may be found. Online bidding will end at 11:59 pm on Thursday, June 25, before the beginning of the Silent Auction inside the gymnasium on Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 am. Be generous with your donation to make sure an in-person bidder does not outbid you on Saturday.
The Gourmet Shop will be housed in the TA Cafetorium, beginning at 10:00 am, with the usual array of home-cooked sweets, casseroles, and many other exceptional items that can be used to make or complete a great meal.
The Tensas Academy Board of Directors, Staff, and students greatly appreciate your participation in this and all fundraisers necessary to help pay for the various expenses that we incur each year as we strive to provide quality education and experience for our students.
For this event, we encourage our participants and patrons to practice social distancing within the buildings and wear a mask (if possible).
